Insomniac’s fanciful brand Beyond Wonderland returns to San Bernardino’s NOS Events Center for its 8th year in 2018. The two day spectacle will be held on Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17.
Several wondrous stage designs will set the tone for the extravaganza, including Queen’s Domain, Mad Hatter’s Castle, Caterpillar’s Garden and Cheshire Woods. Taking over these magical set designs will be dozens of the world’s most acclaimed dance music acts. Last year featured performances by global sensations such as Alison Wonderland, Diplo, Hardwell, Illenium, Markus Schulz, NGHTMRE, Simon Patterson, Vini Vici, Yellow Claw, and more.
Last year’s edition of the festival saw a massive turnout with upwards of 78,000 fans and 70 performances from the dance music community’s best. Six sea-themed stage designs took control across the divine Endless Sea. Attendees were transported via twinkling starfish lanterns, mythical mermaids, and colorful coral reefs to an imaginary underwater realm as only Insomniac does, creating alternate make-believe worlds that come vibrantly to life.
An entirely immersive experience, Beyond Wonderland brings in beautifully costumed dancers, make-believe characters, and breathtaking art installations. 2017’s aquatic themed chapter featured Fishy Fish, Octopus Puppets, Seafoam Sirens and Pink Flamingos as fun-loving creatures brought to life.
Founder & CEO of Insomniac Pasquale Rotella adds, “We work hard throughout the year on creating the next chapter of the Beyond Wonderland story and experience. We strive to create unique and new adventures every year…I’m excited for our community to explore all the new music, new production and new surprises beyond their imagination.”
Tickets are available for purchase on Thursday, January 11 and will include both two-day GA and VIP passes. Stay tuned for more details and lineup announcements from Insomniac. This year is sure to be one of the most mysterious and majestic yet.
