Denver-based producer William Black is making his return to Lost In Dreams Records to unleash a massive official remix package for his fourth studio album The Shadow Realm. Spanning 14-tracks, The Shadow Realm (Remixes) recruits an exciting roster of like minded talent, including REAPER, Last Heroes, DOIL, SPORTMODE, STAR SEED, St. Mary, Bafu, Bumpÿ, RYN, Abandoned.

William Black solidified his status as a leading name in the melodic bass scene. Branching off from his dubstep background, the powerhouse has tapped into raw, genuine songwriting and emotion-fueled productions to fill dance music with fresh, flowing ideas. “The Shadow Realm (Remixes) begins with Acyan’s version of “Find Me In The Dark,” a heavy-dubstep track that takes the original track to a different level. Continuing the tracklist is “Nightmare,” an emotional single that combines DOIL’s heavy dubstep and William’s energetic bass.

The journey continues with STAR SEED’s remix of “Unlove U,” a heartbreak anthem that pairs gut-wrenching vocal performances with the cathartic feeling of moving on. The fourth track features Home By Dawn’s own interpretation of electronic dance to the single “Can’t Be Alone (Without You)” in collaboration with Rosie Darling, combining emotional golden-era progressive house with bouncy bass house drums of the modern era. ETERNAL have their take on “Waiting On This Day Forever,” combining the vocal delicacy of Freja The Dragon with the melodic bass duo’s eternal sound.. Producer duo Last Heroes reinterpreted “Too Good To Be True” as the album’s fifth track, blending their signature melodic bass with William’s creative drive. This version features Trella and Affinity, whose contributions are layered over intense synths and powerful percussion. The latter collaborates again in track sixth accompanied by No/Me for the remix of “Let Me Go,” a blend of intense low-end frequencies and the ethereal sound of Bafu’s Wave sound.

“Can’t wait to release some of my favorite remixes of the new album.” – William Black

The sixth track of the collection consists of SPORTMODE’s revamp of “Goodbye” featuring Blanke and MGRD, This heavy sub-bass remix offers a relentless exploration of his iconic bouncy and syncopated sound. Tracks eight and nine feature opposite versions of “Empty Space,” the single featuring baby blue. On eight seven, DJ and producer St. Mary created a festival-style EDM remix that blends electrifying tension with baby blue’s emotional vocals. Track nine is Bumpÿ’s interpretation of the single, a slower melodic bass version that highlights the artist’s rhythmic dubstep. The next track features dynamic duo Abandoned remix of “Save Me” with Kate Morgan, a single that focuses on emotive melodies bringing an ecstatic EDM anthem to life. The tracklist continues with a different version of the same single. TOO BIASED produced his “Save Me” remix full of raw-energy, bass and modern trap, giving the single a completely different life. Following up is the reimagined version of “Run” featuring TW3LVE, where producer RYN contributes to the single by giving it a robust bass to the powerful moving track.

Acting as the high-energy finale to this collection, masked drum & bass heavyweight REAPER delivers a relentless reimagining of “Monster,” featuring the vocal and production skills of baby blue (the collaborative project of Annika Wells and James Quick). This moody and reflective collaboration reaches new heights, enhancing the captivating vocal performance with his trademark hard-hitting percussion. The remix adapts the original’s orchestration to a drum & bass style, replacing the delicate piano and melodies with grit-heavy synths and driving basslines.

William embarked on the official ‘The Shadow Realm’ Album Tour, including stops at Silo, Terminal 5, Ramova Theatre, The Eastern, Big Night Live, Showbox Sodo, History, The Ogden Theatre. In addition, has an upcoming set at Lost In Dreams Festival, as well as North Coast Music Festival, and support for SLANDER’s ‘The Voyager’ Tour at the Armory.
