Electronic artist PLS&TY has joined forces with famous pop-culture musician Sean Kingston on brand new single, “Very Special” out now on all streaming platforms.
“Very Special” is the first of four included in PLS&TY’s premiere EP, kicking off the release chain of singles paving the way for the rest of the EP. “Very Special” sets out to be an island-electro-hybrid through the reminiscent vocals from Sean Kingston and the summery mix from PLS&TY, a signature sound, which ultimately shows to be the perfect collaboration.
“Very Special” surrounds the audience’s emotions of remembering or creating special memories. The vocals provided by Sean Kingston play an important part in the summery essence and tropical vibe of this track, and will no doubt be this year’s fan favorite. It is truly the perfect blend of electronic and island tunes which Sean Kingston is famously known for.
“Very Special” with Sean Kingston is a follow up to PLS&TY’s 2019 8-minute long short film for his Run Wild / Feeling Forever double-single which amassed over 20 million+ streams collectively. It has also been nominated at multiple international film festivals.
“I’ve simply been a fan of Sean Kingston ever since I heard “Beautiful Girls” on the radio years ago. His single “Take You There” is also one of my personal favorite records of all time. It came about via connecting over email and him enjoying the instrumental that we sent over. I see this song and EP as a true embodiment and showcasing of the PLS&TY brand as a whole — spreading ‘good vibes’ and a positive message, with a mantra rooted in ‘minding your manners.’” – PLS&TY
The 2019 festival season was also extremely busy with 10 plus festivals booked including Shaky Beats, Breakaway, Electric Forest, EDC Vegas, and more. 2020 will be a big year with PLS&TY releasing his own Very Special EP along with confirmed sets at Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and more.
This past year, Sean Kingston hit tracks such as “Peace of Mind” with Tory Lanez and Davido as well as “How Many Times” with Afro Bros. He plans for new music to be released including his EP Made in Jamaica this year. Having always been an in-demand songwriter, he has been working with major artists including, T.I., Wiz Khalifa, and Chris Brown.
“PLS&TY is a great artist and I really enjoy his feel-good music. I always do lively, happy music, and love it more than anything! It was fun to collaborate with an artist from a different genre with the same vibe and vision. This is for the fans!” – Sean Kingston
