Music Releases
Odium Drops “Here Alone” (with Q&A)
Guess who’s back? Odium returns with “Here Alone”, the first release on his new label,
Hyperzone Records. As Odium mentioned on his Instagram page, he has released less
music than usual over the past year. Behind the scenes, Odium went through a difficult creative period in which the excitement and enjoyment he once felt in the studio slowly
disappeared. He decided to take a step back, rethink his sound, and reconnect with the
musical elements that had always driven and inspired him. Now, that passion has fully
returned. Odium feels inspired again, the music is flowing, and “Here Alone” marks the
beginning of an exciting new chapter.
After generating more than 150 million Spotify streams through releases on his own label, WORLDWIDEDOMINATION Records, Odium rebranded the label as Hyperzone Records to mark the beginning of a new musical era. While melody remains at the heart of his sound,
he now embraces a broader range of hard-dance influences, incorporating elements of hard
techno and Schranz to create a powerful hybrid sound that balances emotion with intensity.
With his passion fully reignited, Odium is ready to introduce the next chapter of his sound to
the world.
Q&A
Nocturnal Times: How would you describe the sound that Hyperzone Records represents?
Odium: As the name suggests, it stands for hyperactive music, haha! To me, Hyperzone represents everything the hard-dance scene has to offer musically. As long as the music is energetic and still carries real emotion, it has a place within the Hyperzone sound.
Nocturnal Times: Is Hyperzone Records open to accepting demos and releasing music from other producers in the future?
Odium: Who knows! We definitely have some plans for that, although we’re not yet sure exactly how we want to roll them out. Once the time is right, we’ll share all the details through the official Hyperzone Records socials.
