Both highly appraised for their hit releases and amazing live show performances, electronic music icons, NGHTMRE and Galantis, have just released a new collaborative single, “Tu Tu Tu (That’s Why We)” with Liam O’Donnell via Ultra Music. Created as a catchy four on the floor house tune, the single comes as a fun surprise since the artists come from opposing genres. Coincidentally, both NGHTMRE and Galantis have been fans of each other’s work for a while, praising each other as a tokens of inspiration within their crafts.
“Galantis has been an inspiration to me for years. I’ve looked up to those guys since the Miike Snow and Style of Eye days. Writing ‘Tu Tu Tu’ with them was a really special experience and something a little different for both of us!” -NGHTMRE
“I‘ve been a big fan of NGHTMRE for a long time, and Tyler even did a remix of my song “Hunter,” so finally being able to get into the studio with him was inspiring. The pandemic gave us more time together than we normally would have, and allowed us to really be creative. I think the end result is something timeless and unique…and we may have made more music together, so keep your eyes out.” -Galantis
The combination of both Galantis & NGHTMRE’s production skills have resulted in their genre-bending single, Tu Tu Tu (That’s Why We).” It is definitely a record that will be heard on dance floors around the world. It rides off of the momentum of Galantis’ celebrated single, “Pretty Please” which trended #18 on YouTube. On the other hand, NGHTMRE is still feeling the hype from his single “Nuclear Bass Face” with Subtronics and Boogie T. By combining their crafts into one cohesive single, the single unveils itself as a standout track, setting new marks for collaborations within the electronic space.
