Ferry Corsten to Bring Gouryella Live Worldwide Tour
Published
5 years agoon
Long have Trance fans waited, but Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella will now be headlining his very own tour complete with exclusive tracks and a never before seen stage production.
What originally started as a side project for Ferry Corsten and Tiësto in 1999 finally sees its resurrection. Early releases include the debut self-titled track “Gouryella” and “Walhalla,” which both received support and a remix from the trance titan himself, Armin van Buuren. The duo of Ferry Corsten and Tiësto as Gouryella split in 2001, but the side project has been on Corsten’s mind ever since. After a 13-year dormancy, Gouryella (Corsten) returned with a bang, releasing “Anahera,” which climbed to Beatport’s #1 spot on the Trance Chart and #10 overall this past June. Clearly proving the acclaimed Gouryella is timeless and the music community wants more, Ferry has decided to take things to the next level in 2016.
Corsten had this to say about the return of Gouryella: “One questions that continues to crop up from the fans is when I am going to bring Gouryella back. I’ve always been incredibly touched by the love and appetite they’ve shown this side of my musical career.” Ferry went on to explain, with the response of Gouryella’s most recent hit, “Anahera,” he knew it was the right time to fully showcase the mysterious act.
The tour will travel all over the world, with various stops in the US. Specific location and date details have not been released yet. Taking place in 2016, the Gouryella Live show promises to bring both energetic tracks and a whole new production to finally bring Gouryella to life. Stay tuned for more details coming shortly.
