RayRay Drops Deluxe Edition of ‘Unearthly World’ Including Two New Tracks

Over these last couple of months, Barong Family first Lady, the talented Taiwanese born RayRay has been teasing the Deluxe Edition of her Unearthly World album. Those lucky enough that have seen her play live over these last months have had the opportunity to hear her play and sing the two new tracks that have been added to this deluxe version. The first track “Purge” had already been released a couple of weeks ago. With this little ball of energy cranking out tracks like there is no tomorrow it was just a matter of time until the second release “Antidote” see the light of day. And fans can finally rejoice because today is the day.

With her newest release “Antidote” we see her continuing on her path of releasing high quality tracks after one and other. It is RayRay as she once again shows off her incredible talent as a producer, DJ and vocalist with this release. First she lures us in with her ethereal voice, wrapping us smoothly around her finger but the also gradually upping the tempo until she hits is with a really dark techno drop. Where you just want to float away on the soothing waves of her voice, the beat instantly wants you to move your body to this infectious banger. Accompanied by a visually stunning video we see RayRay once again knocking it out of the park with this one. Overall, “Antidote” feels like a song for the broken lovers that are still coping with loss of their partner. We all hope to find that antidote soon so we can move on with our lives. “Antidote” is out now on Barong Family.

The deluxe version of Unearthly World serves as a stunning and diverse look into this female producer and singer’s psyche and childhood inspiration. With this album she touches on a myriad of genres, from dubstep to trap to melodic, house, and hardstyle, but is held together with a common thread of ethereality that is reminiscent of the folk tales and fairy stories that RayRay loved while growing up in Taiwan.
