Insomniac Expands Culinary Experience for Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas

With only one week remaining until the famed Electric Daisy Carnival makes its grand return to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, festival originators Insomniac Events, has announced the expansion of their premier culinary options. The food offerings a the highly anticipated EDC Las Vegas this year will include the launch of new diverse food trucks and The Terrace restaurant, which is located at kineticFIELD.

 

Hitting the Speedway from June 19-21, 2015, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) has become as Las Vegas institution. Insomniac curates a larger-than-life neon city within the already illuminous Sin City. The new dining options add to the overall carnival experience, which now includes the debut of The Terrace at kineticFIELD, which is the festival’s trendy new restaurant that makes its debut to VIP and Marquee SkyDeck ticketholders. In addition to the new delicious food trucks and vendors, the VIP Café Terrace makes its return, offering VIP ticketholders a casual, fine-dining option for the attendee on the go. Pamper your taste buds as well as your ear buds with the new menu created by celebrity chef Keven Lee.

Bask in the glory of fan-favorite Las Vegas food trucks, which will be scattered across the festival grounds. Offering festivalgoers a unique selection of health-conscious and gourmet menu options, new food truck additions at EDC Las Vegas include the organic 50 Shades of Green, gourmet burgers from Baby’s BadAss Burgers, seafood fare from Cousins Maine Lobster and the Tex-Mex inspired Senor Blues. Fans can also enjoy healthy yogurt parfaits from Bowl of Heaven, frozen drinks at Longshot Coffee, delectable rice bowls from Angel’s Fried Rice and many more.

 

So, what does the debut of The Terrace restaurant have to offer? Enjoy a seated, high-end dining experience with unparalleled views of the largest stage in North America, kineticFIELD. This year’s menu, which has been created by Hollywood’s culinary mastermind Chef Keven Lee, includes a new multi-course dinner menu with Hypnotic Tacos, Massive Attack Wagyu Style and The Kale and Quinoa Charge. Each dish seamlessly infuses the energy and artistic design of EDC Las Vegas into its flavor and presentation. Guests are also invited to start the celebration early or stay and watch the sunrise at The Terrace’s full-service bar, featuring festival-inspired Smirnoff cocktails. Reservations for seated dinners are available with two-hour time slots from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. The entire delicious menu as well as available reservations can be viewed and booked online prior to the festival. Guests must have a VIP or Marquee SkyDeck wristband to visit The Terrace.

For VIP ticketholders looking to enjoy a quick and casual bite to eat, the VIP Café Terrace offers a three-day package that includes one freshly prepared meal per day. Here, festivalgoers can feast upon specially crafted dishes such as Ironed Grilled Cheese, Step and Wok Noodle Bowl, LOADED Wonton Nachos, Spicy Tuna Electro Roll, “The Morning After” Chicken and Waffles, and Dizzy Cloud Tacos. The VIP Café Terrace opens its doors from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night and complimentary passed appetizers will be served from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fans must have a VIP or Marquee SkyDeck wristband to enjoy this amenity. No reservations are necessary and tables and seating are first come, first serve. Passes for the VIP Café Terrace can be purchased in advance online or during the festival at the host stand.
