With two months still left until this year’s epic Spring Awakening Music Festival, the hype and talk about the day-by-day schedule release and available single day tickets are the perfect tease continuing the buzz for this Chicago born festival.
Out by popular demand this year, Spring Awakening broke out the single day lineups earlier than ever and fan’s excitement shot through the roof. Each of the three days are set to host a slew of bangin’ headliners and 24/7 ethereal vibes of trance, house, bass, and everything imaginable in between. Since the full lineup announcement for Spring Awakening 2018 came out, dance fans from coast to coast and ravers traveling from around the world this summer have expressed their dire need for Spring Awakening to happen already. The countless posts on twitter range from “Spring Awakening lineup this year is absolute fire” to “#SAMF I am more than ready for you” to “This is such a STACKED lineup…so ready to hit this one” to the official Spring Awakening account stating “Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate and more craft a start-to-finish immersive trance experience on the opening day of #SAMF 2018!” and many, many more.
So, while it is abundantly clear Spring Awakening hit a grand slam with their lineup this year, let’s give a run down of each special day of this weekend extravaganza. Day 1 is ready to welcome crowds with open arms to the Solstice Stage, Equinox Stage and Branded Stages, each fully harnessed with versatile talent and sounds. Steve Aoki, Alison Wonderland, Tiësto, Tritonal, Zeds Dead, Tchami and Matoma are only some headliners spanning the venue on Friday. In addition to the previous mentioned trance kick off artists, the beloved Heldeep Stage is back and gearing up with Oliver Heldens, Ephwurd, Mercer, AC Slater and A-Track to set off vibes for the whole weekend. Gracing the Solstice Stage on Saturday will be Afrojack, Hardwell, 3Lau, Carnage and Sam Feldt, all bound to deliver non-stop energy and volume on full blast. Fans can head over to the Equinox stage the same day to bass out with Nghtmre, Flux Pavilion, Ganja White Night, Black Tiger Sex Machine and Big Gigantic. DJ Mag and Requiem are bringing the heat as branded stages for Day 2. Nicky Romero, Cash Cash, Deorro, Destructo, and Grandtheft are sure to deliver powerful performances and represent DJ Mag’s electric flair, while Sasha and John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Lee Floss, Prok & Fitch, and Anthony Attalla are going to be groovin’ from start to finish at Requiem.
Finally, closing out the sensational weekend is none other than industry heavyweights Kaskade, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Seven Lions, Dash Berlin and Slander. Crowds can expect to be dancing all day and night under showers of confetti, lights, fire and lasers for these brilliant artists. Headbangers will find their haven at Bass Kitchen’s stage with Bro Safari and a Doctor P B2B Flux Pavilion set, whereas the Sunday School stage has icon Pete Tong and Dubfire to slay away the night. But wait – it STILL gets better. Alongside Slushii, Baauer, and Joyride will be the legendary Deadmau5, who will undoubtedly unleash his momentous power and sound upon each and every crowd member present. Last but not least, since his first few performances, Virtual Self is bound to captivate Spring Awakening with his astronomic stage presence and dangerously commanding sets.
Just in case you aren’t totally infatuated with a 3 day pass to the biggest and most thrilling Spring Awakening to date, single day passes are available for purchase as well at the Spring Awakening Website. Whether Friday, Saturday, Sunday or all three blissful days, your dance heaven awaits this year at Spring Awakening 2018.
