Truth x Lies Rework AFROJACK’s Classic, “Polkadots”

Ian Bertles and Ryan Howard better know to a bigger audience as the dynamic duo Truth x Lies are back at it again. After the success of the Sven Fields and Chasner remix of “Polkadots,” it’s now turn for Truth x Lies to show off their remixing abilities on the AFROJACK classic tune from 2009. It’s no wonder that such an iconic track entices so many remixes — and Truth x Lies seized the opportunity and conquered it well.

Truth x Lies produce with a heavy concept-driven approach. On their interpretation of “Polkadots,” we see them revamping it to their own original, techy driven sound, while keeping the vibe of the original intact — a job well done. Generating a fresh, contemporary track, which at the same time might serve up a heavy dose of nostalgia. This Truth x Lies remix is the missing link in the remix pack of the true Dutch house classic “Polkadots.” The duo delivered a certified tech house banger with their rendition of “Polkadots,” and we can certainly see this remix being heard during many festivals this summer.
