SQWAD Debuts Standalone Single on Insomniac’s IN/ ROTATION

Here with their debut standalone single on Insomniac’s IN/ ROTATION imprint, SQWAD has arrived with their crisp tech house record “Back On Track.”

This track is everything a house music enthusiast could ask for. Clocking in at just under three minutes, every step of the way in “Back On Track” shows up with a purpose. Lined up with fresh percussion cuts, it goes full throttle in an array of bass, synths, and pure house groove. Underlined edge, deeper moments coarse throughout this track’s veins. “Back On Track” features the lyrics “No cap, I’m back // Bringing that heat on tracks” and the elastic groove that soon sets in should serve as a testament to that irrefutable truth. They waste no time at commencing to burn some rubber, as they accelerate through the sonic journey of all things electronic.

“’Back On Track’ is a pure analog-crafted track: all noises, bass and synths came from the Korg MS20…We love its simple approach and can’t wait to test this baby in a club! Really happy to be back on IN / ROTATION for our first 100 percent original track on the label.” – SQWAD

“Back On Track” follows SQWAD’s previous collaboration “Disco Light” alongside Badjokes. This one marked the second offering showcases on the third volume of the label’s Rotate compilation album, and now, the French duo is landing with a perfectly proper song release.

SQWAD is taking the wheel with their first-ever standalone single on IN/ ROTATION with their rubbery tech house groove, “Back On Track.” Towards the end of last year, SQWAD delivered a couple offerings for Wax Motif’s Divided Souls, and have also been making impressive swings across Night Bass, Confession, Monstercat, Gold Digger, and more. Now, “Back On Track” is lifting IN/ ROTATION to an even higher appeal.
