“The song’s lyrics were inspired by conversations I had with my parents during their battles with cancer years ago. There were moments when they were exhausted, overwhelmed, and ready to stop fighting, and I had the privilege of being a voice of hope for them. They had spent their lives being that source of strength for me, so it was so meaningful to return that gift when they needed it most. Even though they have both since passed, those moments remain some of the most cherished memories of my life.” – Haliene
