China’s First All-Female EDM Compilation Reveals Artist Lineup with Beachfront Fashion & Music Event

Following the success of 2024’s CHINA EDM Vol. 1, the new compilation will become China’s first all-female electronic music compilation, bringing together leading and emerging female DJs and producers from across the country while continuing ZHANGYE’s mission of bringing Chinese electronic music to the global stage.

To celebrate the project and recently announced artist lineup, Cyanhill Music partnered with leading Chinese women’s apparel brand ubras for a large-scale beachfront event in Aranya China, marking both the upcoming release of CHINA EDM Vol. 2 and ubras’ 10th anniversary. The event featured a beachside fashion runway presentation, performances from six artists featured on the compilation, appearances from international remix contributors MATTN and Mariana BO, and special guests including prominent Chinese singers, actresses, and cultural figures.

The nine-track compilation features artists including Lizzy Wang, DJ KAKA, MEGURU, DJ UNA, SUNK, Katastic, and 9uery, alongside international remix contributions from MATTN and Mariana BO and vocals from Venessa. Selected through an open call exclusively for female DJs and producers, the project brings together both established artists and rising talent across a wide range of electronic styles, from dance-pop and Future Rave to hard techno and underground electronic music.
