Matroda Returns to Insomniac Records in Fresh Single, “Forget It”
Published
1 month agoon
This year has been one full of change for pretty much everyone, including renowned DJ/producer Matroda. The Croatian-born producer has demonstrated a successful change in direction with his last few releases, straying away from his typical bass-house sound and experimenting with other distinct house melodies. To close out the year with a bang, Matroda makes his grand return to Insomniac Records, this time with a completely revolutionized soundscape on fresh single, “Forget It.”
The stellar track is a hypnotic blend of future-house beats, mesmerizing vocals, and a melody catchy enough to have it continuously on repeat even after just one listen. “Forget It” is a remarkable representation of Matroda’s diversified production capabilities, a song that ticks every house head’s boxes in all aspects. Like any infectious vocal-driven house anthem, “Forget It” is the perfect dance number for some top-hit radio action and late night dancefloor encounters.
As if the upbeat tune wasn’t already striking enough all on its own, Matroda has also revealed its accompanying music video. With the intention to expose the true meaning behind its heartfelt lyrics more vividly, there’s nothing like a nostalgia-inducing cinematic piece portraying an unrequited love, a situation most of us come across in this lifetime and can easily relate to.
Officially released to listeners worldwide this past weekend, “Forget It” has already gained tremendous recognition from massive names like Oliver Heldens, David Guetta, Tiësto, Hardwell, Dash Berlin, Afrojack, CID and many more. Clearly, Matroda must be doing something right, and we’re totally here for it. If you haven’t yet, listen to Matroda’s dazzling fresh future-house number, out now via the prominent Insomniac Records imprint.
