While the incredible artists and DJs are the reason thousands of fans flock to Belgium for Tomorrowland every year, the incredible stages and set-up are every bit as much a part of the experience. With a fire damaging the Mainstage just days ahead of the 2025 event eyes are on the people of Tomorrowland on what the next steps will be.

Sources have confirmed to local media HLN that the festival is not canceled. “Only the format remains to be determined,” they said. Organizers are expected to announce more details about the revised setup at 6:00 PM Belgium time today.

The news comes after a wave of uncertainty gripped festival-goers, especially with over 200,000 attendees expected this weekend. DreamVille is already open, with more than 38,000 people arriving this week. While the mainstage was completely destroyed in a fire—believed to have been caused by faulty pyrotechnics—no injuries have been reported. All other stages remain fully functional, and activities in Brussels and Antwerp are proceeding as planned.

Earlier, officials including the Mayor of Boom and Mayor of Rumst had stated that a final decision would depend on consultations with emergency services and local authorities. That decision has now been made: Tomorrowland is on. With the format set to change, all eyes are now on the 6:00 PM announcement.
