SHAB’s Drops New ‘Skin & Bones’ EP
Rising pop sensation SHAB is set to release her highly anticipated Skin & Bones EP, a powerful follow-up to her acclaimed debut album One Suitcase (originally released February 16, 2024). Known for her genre-defying sound and emotionally charged vocals, SHAB offers fans a five-track evolution of the hit single “Skin & Bones,” delivering new dimensions of the song through remix, acoustic, and extended formats.
“Skin & Bones” was written after a traumatic moment in SHAB’s life. She had just finished recording vocals in a Los Angeles studio session with Damon Sharpe when she received the devastating news that her then-partner had been critically injured in a major car accident back home in Dallas. The song captures SHAB in one of her most vulnerable yet powerful emotional states.
This release marks SHAB’s first full EP since One Suitcase, which featured fan-favorite singles like “Lipstick,” “Say It With Your Chest,” “Euphoric,” and “Dance Til You’re Free.” The new release showcases SHAB’s continued growth as a vocalist and performer, infusing modern EDM energy into her signature emotional pop balladry.
The project was heavily influenced by Grammy and ASCAP award-winning DJ, producer, songwriter, and recording artist Damon Sharpe, whose work has shaped hits for global icons like Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, and Alesso. Sharpe’s visionary approach brings fresh textures to SHAB’s music while preserving the emotional depth that has earned her a loyal global following.
SHAB is fresh from concluding an autumn U.S. national tour in support of the major British pop group The Wanted, where her supporting performances won critical acclaim from reviewers and wowed audiences.
And closing out the year on a high note, SHAB will take the stage at Universal Studios Hollywood during late December as part of its holiday programming to deliver a powerful performance that will blend holiday classics with her most celebrated original songs. This Los Angeles show will cap off a standout year and sets the stage for a packed 2026, including major festival appearances, media tours, and new collaborations on the horizon.
