The sold out Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas returns to Sin City from June 19-21, 2015.

The already massive hype surrounding the 3-day carnival just got even more intense with the announcement of new additions hitting the Speedway in just two short weeks. Known for their immense production and over-the-top designs and art installations, EDC Las Vegas has made attendees aware of some major additions, as well as the many surprises that wont be revealed until the festival doors open on Friday, June 19.

New additions to EDC Las Vegas include, but are not limited to:

Eight New Stage Designs:

The kineticFIELD plays an imminent role in the EDC experience, which is what makes the yearly unveiling of the main stage a key element in the event’s evolution. Rich in the event’s history, this year’s kineticFIELD will also encompass owls, which is an Insomniac signature.

Evolution continues this year with the classic owl at the forefront. Between each DJ set at kineticFIELD this year, the mayor of the owl community will introduce the Headliners to the Crystal Village. Releasing crystals into the crowd—which contain the powers of earth, fire, water, and air—the mayor will transcend attendees into the kinetic world.

Last year, the kineticCATHEDRAL wowed partygoers with its intricately crafted design, which was a shrine to honor the sentiment of music as a religion. In 2013, the massive owl stage made its debut and later traveled to other EDCs in North America on the road to Las Vegas.

Additionally, The Funk House—a colorful, 360-degree structure built entirely out of reclaimed and recycled materials—will make its debut at EDC Las Vegas this year. Giving fans a glimpse of future funk, The Funk House will feature disco, funk, rare groove, soul, and classic hip-hop.

Carnival Square:

Head to the middle of the festival grounds and meet your friends at the new Carnival Square. Serving as a great meeting spot with many easy access points, Carnival Square will also include food and beverage vendors, one-stop shops with seating, merchandise booths, a general store, meet-and-greets, lineup information, a video confessional, lost and found, photo opportunities, and more!

Marquee SkyDeck at EDC:

The Marquee SkyDeck makes its return to the annual carnival. Giving attendees a complete open-air nightclub experience right at the kineticFIELD, the SkyDeck features high-end décor, bars, and more. Propped directly in front of kineticFIELD, EDC’s cabana space offers supreme views of the main stage. This year, taking table service to new heights, another level will be offered with private tables at the usually off-limits “Front of House” area. Design Your Own Cabana at the Marquee SkyDeck:

While you’re at it, why not create your own cabana space at EDC Las Vegas’ Marquee SkyDeck? Giving headliners the chance to get even more creative, stand out from the rest of the crowd by adding your own personal touch to your cabana space inside the SkyDeck by Marquee at EDC. Choose your very own theme for your cabana, which is complete with couches, tables, and matching décor. Themes include safari, Austin Powers, Man Cave, Rock n’ Roll, Midsummer Night, and more. For more information, details, and reservations, email skydeck@insomniac.com.

Art Installations:

As one of the most enjoyable and unique experiences at EDC Las Vegas, the already astounding art installations will see some additions this year. An incredible assortment of new features are slated to make their way to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in 2015. Artist Gerard Minakawa will create Palace Blue, a colonnade of bamboo-forged columns with a vaulted roof and a central structure inspired by the Hagia Sophia cathedral in Istanbul. Building this impressive structure will require about 20 tons of materials, including about 500 bamboo poles, steel, wood and fabric.

Food Truck Additions:

Offering a wide variety of delicious food options, EDC Las Vegas ensure something tasty for everyone. In addition to their already large selection of food choices, EDC welcomes new food vendors this year, including: Cousins Maine Lobster, 50 Shades of Green (organic), Señor Blues (Tex-Mex), Baby’s Badass Burgers (gourmet burgers), Oming’s Kitchen (Vietnamese), Bowl of Heaven (yogurt parfait), and Urban Pie (gourmet wood burning pizza).

The Terrace at kineticFIELD:

The massive space at kineticFIELD—which caters to nearly 100,000 festivalgoers—just got a little bigger. Formerly known as the “Dining Deck,” EDC’s upscale restaurant has transformed their name and menu. The menu, which has been carefully curated by Chef Keven Alan Lee (Executive Check and CEO of My World on a Plate), includes items like the Spicy Tuna Electro Roll, Hypnotic Tacos, THE BOMB S’mores, cookies, ice cream, and more. The 3-course seated dinner is $140 per person and the 3-day VIP café meal is $88. For more information or to purchase tickets please visit here.

Chill Spots:

Take a load off at EDC’s new chill spots, which will be scattered across the festival grounds. Meet up with old friends or hang out with new ones to take in the sights of EDC Las Vegas. Hang out, rest your feet, and just chill, with the new Chill Spots at the Motor Speedway. With benches set beneath LED trees and other creative elements, relaxing never felt so good.

New VIP Viewing Deck at cosmicMEADOW:

Insomniac has added a new VIP viewing deck to the cosmicMEADOW. Festivalgoers can bask in the beauty of the popular area with a VIP viewing area, which serves as an exciting new addition to take in the sights and sounds.

EDC Fashion:
Festival gear plays a significant role in the experience. Creativity and expression are encouraged at EDC, which is why the introduction of the new merchandise designs are a great new addition. Insomniac has introduced new designs, which are exclusive to EC Las Vegas, for Headliners to purchase. These new designs will be available at merchandise booths across the festival grounds and in VIP areas. Merchandise can also be purchased during EDC Week on the Las Vegas Strip at the Wynn and Encore, and more to be announced.
