After emerging in the electronic dance music scene back in 2019, flourishing musician Daniel Allan has diligently showcased his exceptional artistic flair to music aficionados of all capacities. With over 96K monthly listeners on Spotify alone, the imaginative artist is already on his way to the top and ready to revolutionize the music industry as we know it with his affluential independent artist presence in the trending web3 universe. This past new music Friday, Daniel Allan finally unveiled his highly-anticipated Overstimulated EP, a project backed by the high-in-demand concepts of Cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

After working with various prominent record labels and researching how to “make it” in the current industry, Daniel Allan realized “how difficult it was to give up so much of his master ownership for fairly little in return.” He knew there was something he could do to change this, and he did exactly that. The Overstimulated EP campaign was crowdfunded using crypto through Mirror – raising 50 ETH, or approximately $190k in a day from fans. Backers purchased NFTs with exclusive benefits like VIP tickets and received $OVERSTIM tokens to participate in governance. A funding concept that’s only been around for quite some time is already transforming music industry business norms entirely, and Daniel Allan aspires to become an influential persona within this progressive movement to help independent artists truly make it in the music world.

Full Overstimulated EP campaign details can be found here.

The alluring 6-track EP is a visionary musical masterpiece and everything our industry needed and more at this point in time. Full of illusory melodies and introspective lyrics all throughout, Overstimulated reveals Daniel Allan’s personal journey in the most exquisite light. Building up to the full EP’s official reveal, previously released singles “Say What You Want” feat. DEEGAN, “Feel Like That” with Idarose, and “Too Close” feat. Bloody White gave listeners a tiny glimpse into the rest of the EP’s extensive discography and spellbinding underlying meaning. Out now via no major record label but rather all thanks to his own ambitious inner drive, Overstimulated marks only the beginning of Daniel Allan’s story. A true forerunner in the continuously transforming dance music realm, the forward-looking artist is simply unmatched and one to look out for.

“Overstimulated is a project that comments on my personal journey and its overwhelming nature. When life gets hectic, my primary coping mechanism is to lock myself in a room and work it out with music. Sometimes I don’t really know how to communicate, so I suppose this project is my way of sharing that experience with the world..” – Daniel Allan

Currently based in Houston & Miami, I hope to inspire others through my writing. Electronic dance music has become a passion and a form of inspiration in my life, and I wouldn't change it for the world. I aspire to share this passion of mine with others and help them understand the uplifting potential it can have on our lives!
