CHINA EDM Vol.2 Launches Global Open Call for the First All-Female Producer/DJ Compilation. In 2024, CHINA EDM Vol.1, the first-ever Chinese electronic dance music compilation, was released globally, receiving widespread listens, resonance, and feedback from around the world. Today, Cyanhill Music and its founder—electronic music producer/DJ ZHANGYE—officially announce the launch of the CHINA EDM Vol.2 project.
For this edition, ZHANGYE has made a bold and groundbreaking decision:
The open call will be exclusively for Chinese female electronic music producers and DJs.

The inaugural compilation, CHINA EDM Vol.1, released in 2024, featured works from leading Chinese producers and DJs including BEAUZ, CORSAK, Panta.Q, Willim, ZHANGYE and more. Distributed globally by Cyanhill Music, the compilation achieved widespread recognition and reaffirmed ZHANGYE’s long-term vision of bringing Chinese electronic music onto the global stage.

Open Call for Submissions

We are now officially recruiting 9 tracks for CHINA EDM Vol.2.

WHO CAN APPLY:

Female DJs / Electronic Music Producers
The compilation will include two categories:

• Artist Group
• Newcomer Group
  (Please indicate your category when submitting.)

Selection Requirements:

• Artist Group: Music + full artist profile. Evaluation based on overall strength (music, reputation, stage performance, social influence).
• Newcomer Group: Music + brief personal introduction. Evaluation strictly based on music quality.

TRACK REQUIREMENTS

Genre: Electronic Dance Music (EDM)

Must contain vocals; English vocals must account for at least 50%

Length: 2–4 minutes, completed track

Lead producer must be Chinese

Must own 100% of the master recording rights

Each person may submit up to 2 tracks.

 If more than 2 tracks are submitted, 2 will be selected at random for evaluation.

Evaluated by Cyanhill Music Based on Music, Artistic Direction, and Overall Profile.

Newcomer Group
Following the “blind listening” Format of CHINA EDM Vol.1.
A Panel of Chinese & International Industry Professionals Invited by Cyahill Music Will Conduct Blind Evaluations, Selecting Tracks Solely based on Production Quality.
