Ultra Music Festival Presents Free Pet Adoption Event ‘Bayfront Bark’
Ultra Music Festival has announced its next community event Bayfront Bark, a free pet adoption event taking place on Saturday, June 21 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dog Park located in the southeast corner of Bayfront Park. The event aims to support local animal welfare efforts and help connect adoptable pets with loving families.
In collaboration with Miami-Dade County Animal Services, Bayfront Park, the City of Miami, and the Miami Police Department, Bayfront Bark will feature free adoptions, ice cream, and limited giveaways (while supplies last) including Ultra merchandise, pet products, and branded swag. All adoptions are first-come, first-served with a valid photo ID.
Sponsored by Ultra Music Festival as part of its Mission: Home initiative, the event underscores Ultra’s continued commitment to giving back to the Miami community through meaningful local partnerships.
Mission: Home is Ultra Music Festival’s award-winning sustainability program, created in 2019 to reduce the festival’s environmental impact and inspire sustainable practices throughout the live event industry. Since its inception, the program has implemented 61 initiatives, diverted nearly 400,000 pounds of waste from landfills, and eliminated 2.6 million single-use plastic items from entering the waste stream.
Mission: Home has earned national and international recognition, including four SUNsational Awards from the Florida Festivals and Events Association (FFEA) and the prestigious Sustainability Team Award at the World Sustainability Awards. In addition to Mission: Home’s long-standing partnership with The Caring Place – which has donated over 65K pounds of food and beverages to the local community – several new programs in collaboration with local partners have made significant impact in 2024 and 2025, including 54.2K pounds of wood reused or recycled with Recreate Miami and Florida Wood Recycling, nearly 14K pounds of food scraps composted and 9.1K pounds of glass and soft plastic recycled with Renuable, Glass for Life and Lady Green Recycling. As part of Ultra’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and community support, Mission: Home continues to set new standards for sustainability in live events.
