The first noteworthy set was of course none other than the legendary mega set stemming from Steve Angello’s B2B with Sebastian Ingrosso. Just days before their set, they announced that not only will Axwell be joining to complete the Swedish House Mafia trio, but Eric Prydz who is an original member of SHM joined the trio for a one-night-only historic set. To top it all off, the mega set opened up with a carefully curated lineup of friends including Afrojack, Boys Noize, Armand van Helden, Kelly Lee Owens, and MPH. This was one of those sets where you truly just had to be there. The energy from start to finish was hard to even put into words. The time flew by as each artist stepped up on stage with Angello and Ingrosso and smashed track after track that left the crowd going absolutely crazy. Of course, Eric Prydz’s “Generate” was one of the most anthemic tracks of the night, alongside Swedish House Mafia classics like “Don’t You Worry Child,” “Antidote,” “Save The World,” and more.

Next up we have the two legends themselves…Martin Garrix B2B Alesso. I don’t know if I’ve ever heard more screaming, the crowd was genuinely nonstop going wild for every song and every drop these two mixed together. Alesso threw in timeless hits like “Years,” “Cool,” and “If I Lose Myself” just to name a few, while Garrix crushed his staples like “Tremor,” “Lions In The Wild,” “High On Life,” “Scared To Be Lonely,” and tons more. This first-ever B2B was truly the highlight of Ultra opening night and I think it’s safe to say fans will be begging to see them perform together again. By the end, the crowd response spoke volumes. Arms in the air, voices echoing across the park, and a shared sense of connection defined the final stretch. This wasn’t just a back-to-back, it was a reminder of how impactful melodic dance music can be when it’s executed with intention.

On the heavier front, we have Sullivan King B2B Ray Volpe. Total madness is probably the best way to describe this set. This was a team-up of truly epic proportions as these titans threw down banger after banger. There’s something special about two artists in this lane who come together and these two were the epitome of such. From the first drop, it was clear this wouldn’t follow the same path as the rest of the festival, it was louder, heavier, and unapologetically intense. The crowd mirrored that intensity. Waves of movement rippled through the audience as mosh pits formed and dissolved, creating a constant surge of energy. It was chaotic, but never disconnected, every person in the crowd was part of the experience.

Moving over to the Resistance stage we have icon Eric Prydz. At Resistance, Eric Prydz created a completely different world. While the mainstage thrived on explosive moments, his set pulled the audience inward, building a deeper, more immersive experience that unfolded gradually over time. The visuals played a central role, but never felt separate from the music. Light, motion, and sound moved together, creating an environment that felt almost cinematic. It wasn’t about overwhelming the senses, it was about drawing them in. Musically, the set leaned into slow-building tension as fans heard anthems like “Generate,” “Midnight City” and tons more.

And last but not least…yes, the set that dozens of internet-goers are saying was their favorite set of all time. John Summit. Closing out the entire Ultra Weekend on night 3, John Summit’s set was purely exceptional. John Summit’s set felt like the moment of a lifetime unfolding right before our eyes. Movement never stopped as he mixed in his legendary hits like “Go Back,” “Crystallized,” and his new smash singles “Lights Go Out,” and “All The Time” with The Chainsmokers. The energy remained on total overload the entire time in the best way possible, especially when he dove into the crowd himself for the most hype moment yet. His stage production was incredible with pyro and fireworks that made this close out set arguably one of the best Ultra has ever seen.
