Calling all Spring Awakeners…! Celebrating its 6th annual year, Spring Awakening Music Festival is proud to announce their Phase 2 lineup, and it’s safe to say 2018 may just be the best year yet. Phase 2 unveiled the slew of sensational featured artists on the six Branded Stage extravaganza, as well as Ganja White Night’s addition to SAMF’s signature Equinox stage.
Taking place June 8th-10th in Chicago’s beautiful Addams – Medill Park, fans are going to experience the gathering of world renowned performances and all things dance music. Everything from adrenalizing bass music to euphoric trance melodies, each of the revealed artists who span the six Branded Stages as well as the Solstice and Equinox stages are gearing up to make this a weekend to never forget. Headliners like Tiësto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Dash Berlin, Afrojack, and Deadmau5 are only the beginning of this outrageous and monumental lineup.
Amping up the game this year at BASS KITCHEN will be a slew of dubstep, trap, low end frequencies and more. Making his triumphant return, FLUX PAVILLION scored two sets; one solo and one bound to be epic B2B with Circus Record’s DOCTOR P. The rest of the crew ready to rock the house down are BRO SAFARI, BEAR GRILLZ, FIGURE, and BLEEP BLOOP, all expected to unleash full bass potential upon crowds.
After enormous previous success, the DJ MAG stage returns with nothing but high energy performances by headliner NICKY ROMERO (always a favorite), champions of big room music CASH CASH and DEORRO, dance pioneer DESTRUCTO and Mad Decent Records’ powerhouse GRANDTHEFT.
Making its Spring Awakening debut this year will be OLIVER HELDENS’ imprint HELDEEP. Pioneering this stage is Oliver himself, transitioning the dance vibes into deeper endeavors. Alongside Heldens will be Datsik & Bais Haus’ supergroup, EPHWURD, the ingenius A-TRACK, bass-heavy champ AC SLATER, and top-notch French DJ/Producer MERCER.
Moving swiftly into the beloved techno and house music, fans can head over to the The Mid and React’s newest series, REQUIEM. SASHA & JOHN DIGWEED, better known as classic dance heroes, in company with underground designers LEE BURRIDGE, LEE FLOSS, ANTHONY ATTALLA, and PROK & FITCH are going to be absolute heaven for techno & house lovers.
SUNDAY SCHOOL makes it second appearance with a stacked lineup that is sure to deliver all around groovy tunes and take fans through its own unique dance journey. With essentials like PETE TONG and DUBFIRE to boogie all day and night to, and JOSH WINK, WILL CLARKE and WEISS to carry on endless rhythms, this is going to be one bumpin stage.
And, if you’re in it for the euphoria, TRANCE ARENA is thrilled to be your Spring Awakening home. Gracing this stage is Trance God MARKUS SCHULZ and the ever radiant COSMIC GATE. More powerful performances include ALY & FILA and ILAN BLUESTONE, and lest we forget the absolute man, the myth, the legend; GARETH EMERY, who undoubtedly electrifies souls in the most amazing way possible.
