Published
3 years agoon
As if the earth-shattering 15-day countdown wasn’t giving enough momentum and anticipation to the highly anticipated Spring Awakening Music Festival, today the event announced its weekend of top-notch after parties to follow each night’s festivities.
Stretching across five straight days, Spring Awakening’s after parties have been stepped up to the max this year. Nearly every look back at this year’s off the charts lineup leaves more wow’s, shock, and pure awe on faces of all those attending in just a couple short weeks. With this particular selection of electronic icons, Chicago has nailed in its spot as one of this Summer season’s hottest cities. Non-stop energy and sounds ranging from every spot on the dance spectrum will carry far beyond the confines of the festival venue and seep into every block of the city.
With a variety of both 18+ and 21+ events all weekend long, Chicago’s acclaimed nightclubs like Prysym, Sound – Bar, The MID, Concord Music Hall, The Vic Theater and The Electric Hotel are going to be moving and shaking this effervescent city with every ounce of energy possible. 24-7 vibes of everything from slick and modern feels to two-tier dance clubs with ample table and luxury VIP lounges. Regardless of which club is on your list, there is no doubt the walls will be rattling with top-notch performances by a slew of EDM’s treasure piece artists.
Spring Awakening did an outstanding job selecting after parties this year, as each of the electrifying five nights is set to host a series of euphoric dance experiences and a perfect cap to keep the rave going after Spring Awakening’s festivities. It all kicks off on Thursday, June 7th during the Spring Awakening Official Pre – Party with Borgore, locked in as the perfect heavy hitting opening performance. For all the trance fans out in Chicago, your prayers have been answered. Trance legend Gareth Emery will be throwing down on opening night, Friday, June 8th, alongside industry heavyweights Tiësto, Tchami & Mercer, and Zeds Dead. Saturday’s club lineups are straight gnarly; including dance champion Hardwell and all-time favorites Cash Cash. NGHTMRE is sure to deliver another adrenalizing set, while Big Gigantic and Deorro leave crowds speechless at each of their club locations.
Going out with a bang on Sunday is none other than the eternal high-powered masters Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike holding down Prysm, while Kaskade is ready to blow another performance out of the water at The MID, and the legendary Deadmau5 mesmerizes yet again at Concord Music Hall. Trance guru Seven Lions and the ever – thunderous Bauuer complete Sunday’s set of thrills. The special talent continues through Monday with the Spring Awakening Official Closing Party featuring Figure & Doom Music Takeover at The MID.
For SAMF ticket holders, presale is live now so don’t sleep on it! As of 10 AM CST tomorrow, Thursday, May 24 tickets will be available to the general public. For further information on all things Spring Awakening, after parties & more visit here.
