RÜFÜS DU SOL’s third studio album, SOLACE, has been widely respected and celebrated. Now, comes the next announcement of a recreated 18-tack remix album, SOLACE REMIXED, that will release on September 6th via Rose Avenue / Reprise Records. This collection holds various mixtures of reworks from electronic music’s most leading figures such as Audiofly, Adam Port, Edu Imbernon, and Hot Since 82. The package remakes the story of SOLACE, ranging from techno to cerebral house tracks. Whatever genre these re-imaginings fall into, they are all ready for the club.

With the trio having clubland roots, REMIXED serves as proof to their role as worldwide curators within the electronic music scene. They are one step ahead with the experimental and unique crafting that went into SOLACE, and the remix album now provides a behind the scenes look into what helped form the original. Many who have attended the group’s iconic DJ sets at huge venues like Space Miami or Ibiza’s Amnesia Terrace will recognize these colossal cuts. To pre-order the collection, you can click here. A special vinyl edition will also be available on October 18th.

Lastlings, an Australian indie-electronic duo, signed to RÜFÜS DU SOL’s own Rose Avenue Records, shared their rework of “Solace” early before the full remix album will be launched. In this barely recognizable remix of the original, Lastlings add a mysterious and pulsating beat to the ghostly synths that reflect over the vocals by Amy Dowdle. In a short time, the pair has been on a quick rise to fame by earning over a few million streams to date. They secured a spot on the Do LaB stage at Coachella and supported RÜFÜS on major dates across their Australian and North American tours.

Last week marked the second leg of the band’s huge SOLACE World Tour. While on the road, they also launched a new episodic series titled ‘Between Du Sols’ featuring conversations backstage between the band and supporting artists throughout their journey. With huge milestones in the past year, fans of RÜFÜS could not be more excited to see what comes from this beyond talented trio next.
