NISHA has just dropped a stunning new visual for an EP in its entirety, Paris. ’11:11′ – A Music Short Film by NISHA is available now.
This breathtaking new piece perfectly showcases NISHA’s artistic range and so beautifully tells a coming of age story where the multifaceted artist reveals their non-binary identity as a pop artist through French, American, and Indian visuals. Through vivid storytelling, the Paris short film by NISHA is an expression of energies in balance and harmony. A truly visual experience, NISHA’s latest piece encompasses each track from the 4-track Paris EP, all while showcasing dozens of various looks and ensembles.
The ’11:11′ short film by NISHA takes viewers on a spiritual journey. In a visually stimulating creation, it showcases their embodiment of the Hindu God Shiva together with their female counterpart Parvati. Both energies in harmony, it is a depiction of feminine and masculine energies coming into balance in one body and one world. “Cassonade” is about the reflection and destruction of the old binary paradigm, “Sunbutter” depicts the fantasy mold of a “perfect woman” and “Paris” celebrates NISHA embracing the complexity of being a complete person, free to live and love as they are. Depicting the cycle of transformation, the visual EP can be watched as a loop, serving as a warning that evolution is ongoing and must be honored by self-knowledge and owning your lessons.
The newest ’11:11′ visual experience comes just one month after NISHA provided a hypnotizing feature as the co-writer of Michael Calfan & HARBER’s “Feelings After Dark,” which is out on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom/Spinnin’ Records.
“The ‘Paris’ visual project was made over the last year with a small independent team in Florida and Los Angeles. It was a coming of age story for me where I reveal my non-binary identity as a pop artist through French, American, and Indian visual archetypes.” – NISHA
