The Nocturnal Times is here with the world-exclusive of “Blackout,” Marcus’ masterful collaboration with London-based singer and songwriter Lauren L’aimant, officially out tomorrow, January 10th via Protocol Recordings.
Opening the curtains to “Blackout,” a stirring of pulsating rhythms turns into a buzz of rich tones alongside a commanding presence by vocalist Lauren L’aimant. Lauren’s desirable voice in the record flips a velvety smooth switch, sprinkling the track with a touch of stardust that only enhances its essential intricate palette. Infusing “Blackout” with a variety of elements including progressive house sounds and trance hints, Marcus spiced this one up to a flavorsome level that is melting dance enthusiast’s hearts at the first play.
