Beatport has joined forces with SiriusXM’s BPM to create a brand new radio show, ‘Pitch Control,’ which airs weekly on Sundays at 11pm EST. You can listen to ‘Pitch Control’ on SiriusXM’s Channel 51 (BPM) for an exciting array of underground hits specially chosen by Beatport and Beatsource’s curation teams.

The first session went live on Sunday, April 5th, and is now bringing the widely recognized Beatport sound and European dance hits nationwide to SiriusXM’s U.S. subscribers. The show is hosted by Beatsource Dance Curator and L.A.-based Andrew Ortiz (aka “DJ Drew”.)

The tracks featured on ‘Pitch Control’ will certainly be some of the hottest tracks of the moment, brought to you by some of the most talented curation and music content teams going. The teams will also be taking into consideration real-time activity from Beatport’s LINK service, a streaming service that’s fully integrated with DJ software and hardware so that songs being played around the world by DJs are immediately known to the Beatport curators.

“We are thrilled to enter into this music and broadcasting partnership with SiriusXM, one of the leading music destinations here in the US. So many U.S.-based electronic music fans are thirsty for the best underground electronic music tracks that will likely be the next big dance floor hits, and our world-class curation team and Beatsource’s expert staff are the perfect combination to deliver the goods on a weekly basis.” – Robb McDaniels

You can tune into the show via radio if you’re a SiriusXM subscriber, as well as on the SiriusXM app and connected devices as part of SiriusXM’s recently announced free streaming access in operation through May 15. For more info and to get moving on listening, visit SiriusXM.com/streamfree.
