LEFTI & Ann Nesby Bring the Hottest Groove in “Rejuvenate”

Live instrumentalist Alex Suarez, better known as LEFTI has gifted the electronic scene with a plethora of undeniable groove. Coming together with none other than the ever-soulful Ann Nesby, the two have arrived with their latest “Rejuvenate” track.

For those of us in the dance music scene who have musical roots in the eternal punk-rock & pop-rock genres, LEFTI should be no stranger. From the legend of Cobra Starship, Suarez has taken his long-standing music career into the electronic sphere. Dubbed a “Disco House Hero” by Dancing Astronaut, LEFTI’s discography has been beyond well-received. Responsible for a wealth of dance-floor nirvana, Suarez has been supported by major league artists like Disclosure, Claptone, Don Diablo, Mark Knight, Anna Lunoe, CID, and tons more. 

“Rejuvenate”, which is available with an Original and Extended Mix, sees LEFTI returns to Toolroom Records imprint for a sonic encore following his debut release on the label in March. Clocking in at just over 5 minutes, the track is an energizing flow of funk, brisk rhythms, pulsing beats, and crisp percussion. Ann Nesby takes the spotlight in dusting her touch of gold on the record’s groovy ambiance. Its spry mid-tempo pace takes listeners straight into riding a wave of musical freedom. 

Nesby’s delivery is effortlessly emotive and heartfelt.
