Jan Blomqvist Remixes Mako’s “Roller Coaster”
Published
1 week agoon
After a slew of lead singles, Mako‘s highly-anticipated sophomore album, Fable, was released in mid-December last year, followed by his latest collaboration “Lose You Now” with Lindsey Stirling. Banking on this momentum he now prepares for his new album. This will be filled with intriguing remixes that allow the listener to enjoy Fable in a reimagined way. The first remix will be of his massive track “Roller Coaster” from German Producer Jan Blomqvist.
Jan Blomqvist is widely known for his melodic compositions and techno-inspired club tracks. For this special occasion he lends his signature style to “Roller Coaster.” As a result, he flips the original into a deeper club offering. That is to say that Jan is capitalizing on the somber essence of the original.
In other words, Mako’s strong original composition remains audibly relevant while Jan Blomqvist transforms the melody into a euphonic and driving soundscape with additional instrumentals. While the original treads on the lines between genres, the remix highlights the scintillating electronic elements as it leads the listener on a sonic roller coaster.
This four-minute remix is designed with the dance floor in mind. “Roller Coaster” is out now via Ultra Records, and available to across multiple streaming platforms.
