Insomniac Reveals VIP Offerings for 5th Annual EDC NY

Making its grand return to the city that never sleeps, EDC NY hits Citi Field on May 14-15, 201, the 5th annual event will bring newly expanded VIP offerings.
Insomniac Events announced an expanded VIP experience for the 2016 installment of Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) New York, which returns to the Citi Field this year following a stint at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

Taking over the home of the New York Mets on Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15, EDC NY 2016 will deliver two days of action, non-stop entertainment, and some of the biggest acts in electronic dance music (EDM). Headliners—in addition to the EDC-goers—include: Afrojack, Aly & Fila, Dada Life, Dash Berlin, David Guetta, Dillon Francis, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, DJ Snake, Dreamstate Presents, Eric Prydz, Ferry Corsten presents Gouryella, Kaskade, Madeon, Markus Schulz, MaRLo, Mike Saint-Jules, Nicole Moudaber presents Moodzone, Oliver Heldens, Paul van Dyk, Throttle, Zedd, and many more.

This year, the newly expanded VIP offerings will include a doubled in size experience, new stage viewing areas, a classic Speakeasy, complimentary high end liquor tastings, Wi-Fi hotspots, complimentary gourmet food options, customized gifts and more.

Additionally, this year’s VIP experience at EDC NY boasts special VIP entrances into EDC New York’s Electric Grove, the massive main VIP courtyard, situated perfectly in between the kineticFIELD and cosmicMEADOW stages. The newly added Electric Grove will be the home of two viewing decks, bars, stocked with beautiful décor, and ample dancing space. The theme in the Electric Grove is a fully immersive, 1920s prohibition-style Speakeasy pop-up. The intimate liquor lounge, The Blind Owl, will include complimentary premium whiskey tastings and a cocktail menu.

The VIP experience this year will also allow headliners to create their own kandi-bracelets, dive into an enormous ball pit, express themselves with glitter body paint and airbrushing, and sock up the beauty within the multiple art installations.

The first 500 guests to walk into the Electric Grove will receive a special welcome gift from the Insomniac host team. Additionally, all two-day VIP ticket holders will be provided with a customized Insomniac water bottle for endless refills at the dedicated VIP water station.

To stay connected at the festival, VIPs will have access to Wi-Fi hotspots as well as phone charging stations placed throughout the Electric Grove. VIP fans will also receive a specially designed souvenir laminate, expedited entry into the festival, private restroom facilities, and so much more.
