GRiZ Spreads Positivity in 2021 with “Vibe Check”

DJ/Producer, multi-instrumentalist, philanthropist, and LGBTQ advocate, GRiZ, has recently dropped another stunning single, “Vibe Check,” which possesses balanced parts of soul and bass. Built on a foundation of energetic saxophone melodies and wonky bass drops, the tune sonically exhibits GRiZ’s outstanding sound design and adds to his plethora of hit singles.

The young artist had an explosive start to 2020 from the release of his mixtape, Chasing The Golden Hour, Pt. 3,  along with his infamous anthem “Medusa” and two new installments of his notorious Bangers EP series. “Vibe Check” is GRiZ’s way of spreading positivity for the start of 2021, while his mission is still to serve and give back. 

GRiZ had an explosive 2020 with the release of the third iteration of his vibey mixtape Chasing The Golden Hour, Pt. 3 and his pride anthem “Medusa” as well as two new installments of his Bangers EP series, Bangers[5].Zip and Bangers[6].Zip. He hopes to continue spreading positivity and uplifting beats into the new year with “Vibe Check” kicking off this mission in 2021. This past December marked the seventh anniversary of his charitable event series the 12 Days Of GRiZMAS, which featured holiday-themed activities, community service initiatives, and a full blow-out virtual festival experience that featured eight hours of sets and live performances from acts like Zeds Dead, Claude VonStroke, Destructo, AC Slater, Elohim, J.Worra, and more, along with a special two-hour performance from GRiZ himself. In the end, 12 Days Of GRiZMAS raised over $125,000 in 2020 alone with all proceeds donated to Seven Mile, non-profit raising awareness and funds for music, arts, and coding programs for Detroit’s Inner City Youth. 

By spreading another dose of positivity into the world with, “Vibe Check” GRiZ is determined to use its awareness to provide a spotlight towards other issues that the global community could come together and solve.
