A new year means a fresh start. A new year also means another festival season is upon us. Governors Ball Music Festival 2019 has announced their full lineup today (Monday, Jan. 7) at 8AM EST.
The annual Founders Entertainment event takes place on Randall’s Island Park in NYC from May 31 through June 2, 2019. Included on this year’s bill are Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne, Gesaffelstein, Florence + The Machine, Major Lazer, The 1975, Zhu, The Strokes, Nas, SZA, Louis The Child, and many more.
Additional featured performances from acts such as Kaytranada, Bazzi, Lily Allen, Charli XCX, Bob Moses, Kacey Musgraves, Chelsea Cutler, Vince Staples, Ty Dolla $ign, MØ, Brockhampton, Mitski, and many more, Governors Ball will showcase 70 artists over the course of the weekend.
In addition to the lineup announcement, special announce day pricing is also expected to be revealed. Available on January 7 only, 3-day GA festival passes are $275 plus fees, while 3-day VIP passes are $600 plus fees, respectively. Regular pricing for Gov Ball 2019 is $305 plus fees for a 3-day GA pass, while 3-day VIP passes are $705 plus fees. Payment plans for Gov Ball are also available.
