Gabriel & Dresden Says Goodbye to Pacha NYC With Nostalgic DJ Set

Pacha NYC is closing its doors this month—and in doing so, the Manhattan mega-club is hosting a string of events in The End: The Closing Parties series.

 

Gabriel & Dresden took to the booth at 618 W 46th St. this past Fri., Jan. 8 for their final performance at Pacha NYC, which was stocked with nostalgic gems to offer patrons one last sentimental journey.

 

Dave Dresden—one half of the acclaimed emotional dance duo—delivered a 3-hour ensemble, sending Pacha off full circle. G&D is part of the New York nightclub’s history with countless notable club nights over the last decade of dance.

 

Over the course of their inspirational career, G&D has constructed an extensive discography, which consists of stellar productions, noteworthy collaborations, extensive remixes, memorable mash-up’s, and emotional live sets.

 

During Gabriel & Dresden’s final Pacha NYC performance, original track highlights included “Tracking Treasure Down,” “Arcadia,” and “Zocalo” with Armin van Buuren.

 

Dresden also included popular G&D remixes in their Pacha farewell set, which included: Rachael Starr “Till There Was You,” Sarah McLachlan “Fallen,” Mark Knight & D. Ramirez “Colombian Soul,” Above & Beyond “No One On Earth,” Tiësto feat. Christian Burns “In The Dark,” and Paul Oakenfold “Southern Sun,” among a plethora of other fan-favorites. Dave also included popular dance gems “The Girl You Lost To Cocaine” by Sia and “Silence” by Delerium.

 

Up next in the Pacha NYC closing series is R3hab (Jan. 15), Chris Liebing (Jan. 16), Afrojack (Jan. 22), Sebastian Ingrosso (Jan. 23), and Danny Tenaglia (Jan. 23).
