Electric Zoo has announced the first round of talent slated to soundtrack the annual three-day event on Randall’s Island Park, New York. The festival, which is bringing its first Transformed edition for its seventh installment, has become a NYC staple since its debut in 2009.
Taking to Randall’s Island for the 7th edition of Electric Zoo from September 4, 5, 6, 2015 to be part of the transformation so far include Above & Beyond, The Chemical Brothers, and Alesso. From now until mid-May, visit FollowMeToNewYork.com, where Electric Zoo will unveil additional performers each day until the full lineup revealing, which is expected in the middle of the month.
Follow Above & Beyond back to New York for their Electric Zoo main stage return in 2-2015. Last October, Made Event presented the UK-based trio’s sold out #ABGT100 showcase at the world’s most legendary arena, Madison Square Garden. Earlier this year, Jono, Tony, and Paavo released their full-length artist album on their Anjunabeats label, “We Are All We Need.” Party animals can anticipate a soundtrack from the guys, which includes their latest singles “Peace Of Mind” feat. Zoe Johnston and “All Over The World” feat. Alex Vargas, among many other Anjuna favorites.
Swedish DJ and producer Alesso has taken the dance floors and airwaves by storm with the release of his popular tracks “Heroes (We Could Be)” feat. Tove Lo and “Cool” feat. Roy English. Slated to release his full-length debut artist album “Forever” on May 22 through Def Jam, the 23-year-old talent will certainly have a slew of new material to showcase during the annual LDW festivities in New York.
Returning to the EZOO main stage for the first time since its debut, The Chemical Brothers will bring a refreshing element to the NY staple. Recently releasing their newest single “Sometimes I Feel So Deserted,” The Chemical Brothers’ return to Electric Zoo prove everything, indeed comes full circle.
Over the weekend, Electric Zoo unveiled DVBBS, The Glitch Mob, Ferry Corsten and Zeds Dead to the 3-day roster, followed by Monday announcements including Galantis and Markus Schulz.
Since its first installment in 2009, Made Event’s Electric Zoo Festival has catered to dance music enthusiasts of all kinds, offering a diverse lineup, consisting of a wide variety of EDM sub-genres.
Sunday School, which offers attendees a taste of the underground, will return to this year’s three-day extravaganza. Showcasing the latest and greatest in techno and house music, Sunday School has been a vital aspect of Electric Zoo since its inaugural event seven years ago.
