Electric Forest to Return as One Weekend in 2019

Insomniac Events officially welcomes the Forest Family to return to Rothbury, Michigan’s enchanting Sherwood Forest in 2019 for one magical weekend. Electric Forest will take place this year from Thursday, June 27 – Sunday, June 30.

Stepping away from its previously back-to-back weekends, this year’s Forest is fully committed to the creation of a Sherwood Forest conservation plan. Read more in Insomniac’s official statement below:

Electric Forest 2019 Statement:

During the next year, the Electric Forest grounds will see many exciting improvements that include upgraded landscapes, areas with new grass, and infrastructure improvements across the site. Most importantly, a new multi-year Sherwood Forest conservation plan will take effect.

Protecting and curating the grounds of Electric Forest for generations to come is important to all of the Forest Family. The impact that comes with two weekends will need to be reduced for the new improvements to take hold.

With conservation and longevity in mind, Electric Forest will be one magical weekend in 2019.

The condensation back into one joyous weekend further demonstrates Insomniac’s devoted efforts not only to bringing continual one-of-a-kind experiences to their fans but to fostering a sustainable community in which such events can be enjoyed for many, many years to come. The Six in the Forest and Four in the Forest Loyalty tickets will be on sale this Wednesday, December 5, with the Good Life and GA Loyalty to follow on Thursday, December 6.
