Familiar to the dance scene, Gary Richards, better known by his stage name, Destructo, is back with another four-on-the-floor smash, recognizably demonstrating his production style of fusing house music and rap. This time, the notorious house artist boldly puts forth an energetic remix of Whipped Cream’s “I Do The Most” featuring Lil Keed, and continues to audibly satisfy any avid listener of house tunes.
Filled with a hypnotic bassline and led rigorously by a classic percussive beat, the track is an energetic and gritty tech house banger that sucks listeners deep into the groove. Any dance fan could instinctively recognize Destructo’s production style throughout the remix, furthering his reputation as one of the kings of hip hop house. With so many sub-genres of house blossoming into the electronic landscape, it’s amazing to see how Destructo has adapted his sound as an artist, constantly sprinkling modern touches to keep all of his tracks sounding fresh, while also holding onto the electro roots that make his releases a ‘Destructo’ record.
Gary’s “I Do The Most” remix adds to his list of career accomplishments, alongside countless hit records, and of course – HARD events. Although it is unsure when music festivals will be able to operate at it’s full, it’s still a treat to hear the Destructo’s new tunes, further foreshadowing what the artist still has in his arsenal of unreleased music.
