Swedish powerhouses Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso took their talents to Miami’s STORY Nightclub this Saturday, March 25th during Miami Music Week.
As the week celebrating music, love, and people from all around the world was coming to a close, the duo shook the place up bringing many of their individual hits as well as old Swedish House Mafia classics to the table.
A few of the tunes to get the club on their feet were their own “Calling,” “Reload,” “Dark River,” and “Don’t You Worry Child,” and “Sun Is Shining.” Their recent collaboration with Kid Ink, “I Love You,” made the cut, as well as The Chainsmokers and Coldplay’s “Something Just Like This,” and Daft Punk’s smash hit “One More Time.”
STORY’s ritzy and luxurious nightclub setting layed the perfect groundwork for the night. Upon entering, guests’ bodies and faces were adorned with vibrant glow paint as they strolled underneath innumerable colorful strings and lasers hanging in every direction across the club. Strobe lights and bright green glow sticks constantly showered over fans, highlighting every color of the rainbow.
This show is one that will stick in the memories of those in attendance for a very long time. Never disappointing, Axwell ^ Ingrosso come with everything they have and put on an amazing and unforgettable performance each and every time.
Axwell ^ Ingrosso’s unforgettable MMW set came to a halt at 4 in the morning, when a surprise performance by Steve Aoki took the night in for a tremendous close. After hanging out for a bit onstage with the duo, Aoki tore it up as fans raged on through the after hours of the night. Even Hardwell stopped by to snap some pictures behind the booth, while Alan Walker enjoyed the show from the crowd.
A truly star-studded night, this was a musical journey overflowing with magic, emotion, and power as these world-famous artists shattered the heart of Miami.
