Above & Beyond Announce ABGT 450 in London this Summer
Published
3 weeks agoon
As the UK prepares to reopen its doors once summer rolls around, more and more live music events continue to be announced, and electronic music lovers are finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. That only leaves London natives Above & Beyond no option but to welcome back this year’s highly-anticipated ABGT 450 soiree right in their very own backyard this summer as well.
On August 14th and 15th, Above & Beyond present Group Therapy 450 and Anjunadeep: Open Air London at The Drumsheds venue. After not being able to host last year’s ABGT400 ensemble live as per usual, this year’s festivities are bound to make up for every missed Anjuna event since the start of the Pandemic. In just a few months, Tony, Paavo and Jono will be joined by rising Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep mainstays, with Saturday featuring the best from the trance and progressive label and Sunday celebrating the deeper, more melodic sounds of Anjunadeep.
“Thrilled that our first time back in the saddle will be for one of the world’s greatest live music audiences. UK fans sing louder and dance harder than just about anyone. We can only imagine the energy they’ll bring after a year trapped indoors. Can’t wait for this one.” – Above & Beyond
The last few Group Therapy milestone events have taken place at some of the world’s most fascinating venues, and we can’t believe their last hometown show was all the way back in 2013 at Alexandra Palace. With so much to look forward to regarding the dance music community as the world slowly begins to return back to normal, it’s time for the trio to honor their tremendous success and the return of live music right at home.
After an entire year of not being able to dance next to like-minded strangers to some of the most intricate sounds in the industry, ABGT450 tickets are bound to sell out fast. Luckily, pre-sale tickets for both separate shows will be available at 10 AM GMT on Thursday, March 25 here. Always bringing their best when performing in London, we can’t wait to reunite on the dancefloor with Above & Beyond once again this summer.
